Longest Reigning Monarch Side Plate
£40.00
Belonging to our longest reigning monarch collection, this sumptuously purple side plate has a central design of the Coat of Arms, which featured on the original programme of Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953. This collection was launched to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II becoming the longest reigning monarch on Wednesday 9th September 2015, surpassing the record of her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria.
The magnificent purple of this side plate is achieved through use of a gold based pigment. Alongside the 22 carat gold gilding, the result is essentially all gold.
Skilled artisans in Stoke-on-Trent, in England, have made this piece entirely by hand using fine bone English china, which is an exquisite material known for its true delicacy.
Not suitable for use in a dishwasher or microwave.
Diameter 19 cm.
