A rare opportunity to purchase a number 1 edition from our archive collection.
These set of four individually decorated Queen Victoria minitaure plates, have been held in our archive since 2001, and are individually numbered and certificated.
Queen Victoria succeeded to the throne at the age of 18 and reigned over one of the most remarkable periods of growth, change and discovery. As Queen she was greatly admired and respected and when she died 100 years ago in 1901, the nation went into deep mourning over the loss of a much-loved monarch.
This set of four miniature plates each with a different design were part of the official range of fine bone china created to commemorate the golden age of Queen Victoria (1819-1901).
The desisign takes its inspiration from English bone china commissioned by Queen Victoria for the Great Exhibition of 1851.
Presented in their original hand made gift box with the number one certificate.
Hand-finished in burnished gold.
Not suitable for dishawashers or microwaves.
Each plate measures 13 x 13 x 1 cm.

Items must be returned with the sales invoice within 28 days of the purchase date. Due to hygiene reasons, pierced earrings and face coverings cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
