Description

Number 1 from the original limited edition of 1000.

On the 6th of February 2022, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.

This first issue Limited Edition Pillbox Clock formed part of the official chinaware collection commissioned by Royal Collection Trust to commemorate the unprecedented anniversary.

The design is inspired by the purple Robe of Estate worn by The Queen at her Coronation. The border decoration is based on the gold embroidery on the robe, which incorporates olive branches and wheat ears, symbolising peace and prosperity.

At the centre of this exquisite pillbox clock is the Royal Coat of Arms, which has been specially painted for the occasion and includes the national emblems of the United Kingdom.

Expertly crafted using fine bone china, this pillbox clock is made in Staffordshire, England, the home of British potteries. Using traditional techniques unchanged for generations, each piece is finished in 22 carat gold.

Presented in the original bespoke gift box with the number 1 certificate.

Pillbox clock 5 x 6 x 6 cm.

Height when opened 8 cm.
