The design of this exclusive range is closely derived from the large collection of botanical Chelsea porcelain acquired by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Most of the pieces, which date from c.1750, can be seen in the cabinets of the Morning Room in Clarence House. Set up in Chelsea in 1746 by the silversmith Nicholas Spirmont, Chelsea Porcelain was the first English porcelain factory.
Made from eucalyptus board with a melamine finish and black baize backing, these mats are heatproof to 160 degrees
