Longest Reigning Monarch Tankard
£40.00 £33.33
Queen Elizabeth II became Britain’s longest reigning monarch, surpassing the record of her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, on Wednesday 9th September 2015. To celebrate this magnificent milestone, Buckingham Palace commissioned this exclusive range. The design takes inspiration from the Coat of Arms which featured on the original programme of Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953.
This collectable tankard is a sumptuously rich purple colour which is achieved through use of a gold based pigment. Together with the 22 carat gold gilding, the resulting decoration and design on the piece is essentially all gold.
This tankard is made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent, England which is the British home of fine bone English china potteries. Fine bone English china is well known for its delicacy and that is what has created this magnificent piece.
Not suitable for use in a dishwasher or microwave.
8.5 x 9 x 11 cm including handle.
Mug holds 250 ml.
