Presented in a hand made gift box with numbered certificate.
Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952. On 9th September 2015 she became the longest reigning monarch, overtaking Queen Victoria (1837-1901).
The design of this English fine bone china celebrates this great and historic date with a specially painted Coat of Arms inspired by the original Coronation programme design of 2nd June 1953. The sumptuously rich purple colour on the china is achieved through use of a gold based pigment. Together with the 22 carat gold gilding, the resulting decoration and design on the piece is essentially all gold.
Hand made in Staffordshire, England using the same traditional methods which have remained unchanged for 250 years, each piece is finished with 22 carat burnished gold.
Not suitable for use in a dishwasher or microwave.
