Our new chocolates are presented in jewel-toned tins with a design inspired by the decorative scrollwork and ornamentation found in the Royal Palaces. These sweet tins have a sustainable story. Learn how they are made in London in a process which uses solar power and how the tins can be recycled or reused in your home after the delicious contents are finished.

How it's Made

Tin is a material which allows for high quality printing, creating these intricate designs and vibrant colours. Once printed, the tin plate is cut and shaped to create the tin and the lid. Embossing is then used to add interest to the lid design, with a crown motif added to each one. The process of making these sweet tins at the factory in London uses solar power, and any tin offcuts are recycled.

A Sustainable Material

Tin is extremely durable, meaning that these collectible pieces can be used and enjoyed in your home for many years. If tin does need to be recycled, it can be far more efficiently recycled than other materials because metals can be easily separated using a magnetic process. What's more, unlike plastics, tin can be infinitely recycled without loss of quality, so it can go on to make many more beautiful and practical items.
