Coal Exchange Plate
Made by hand using fine bone English china, this magnificent plate displays a design inspired by a service made in 1849 by Coalport for the Royal Table at the opening of the Coal Exchange London.
The royal coat of arms is at the centre of the plate and is surrounded by three emblems, George and the Dragon, the badge of the Heir Apparent and the arms of the City of London. The gold detail throughout the design and on the beautiful scalloped edge are all hand-finished in 22 carat burnished gold.
Not suitable for use in a microwave or dishwasher.
Diameter 28 cm.
