The Gadroon Collection
Inspired by the spectacular Royal Worcester service used every year at the Garter Day luncheon in the Waterloo Chamber at Windsor Castle. The border surrounding the Royal Coat of Arms is painted with the insignia of the British orders of chivalry. With 'gadrooning', a series of curved, convex or concave flutings, widely used as a decorative edging on articles of silverware and porcelain during the Italian Renaissance.
