A limited edition of 100.

Presented in a hand made gift box with a numbered certificate.

The design of this Limited Edition Gadroon Vase is inspired by the magnificent dessert service in the Royal Collection, created by Coalport in Staffordshire on the accession of George IV in 1820.

The highly embellished Hanoverian Coat of Arms, used by both George IV and William IV, forms the centrepiece of this exclusive and magnificent piece. The Royal Arms are surrounded by a turquoise and a gilt scroll border with ‘gadrooned’ edges in burnished gold.

Gadrooning is the term used to describe a series of curved, convex or concave flutings, used as a decorative edging on articles of silverware and porcelain etc. Gadrooning was widely used during the Italian Renaissance, and in the classicising phases of 18th and early 19th-century design.

Made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent using traditional methods unchanged for over 250 years, and finished by hand using 22 carat gold. English fine bone china is highly regarded around the world for its whiteness, fineness, delicacy, and durability.
