To celebrate the 95th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen, Buckingham Palace has commissioned this exclusive collection.
The design of this commemorative teacup and saucer is wonderfully inspired by the pink roses in bloom at the time of The Queen’s official birthday, on the East Terrace Garden, Windsor Castle. At the centre of the teacup is a specially painted coat of arms which is surrounded by a delicate border inspired by the Sèvres Porcelain patterns in the Royal Collection, decorative acanthus leaves and the National Emblems of the United Kingdom. The same design is featured on the matching saucer which completes this delicate set.
Made by hand in England, this side plate is entirely crafted using traditional methods unchanged for 250 years and the design is delicately finished using with 22 carat gold.
