The Duke of Edinburgh Bottle of Ale
- RETURNS POLICY
To commemorate the remarkable life and legacy of His Royal Highness, Duke of Edinburgh, Britain's longest-serving consort, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse will host special displays. The displays will explore The Prince's early life, naval career, his role as consort and his support for the sovereign at home and abroad.
To coincide with this special exhibition, Royal Collection Trust have introduced a magnificent collection inspired by His Royal Highness's wide-ranging patronages, associations and interests.
Enjoy this smooth bottle of ale, the perfect accompaniment for picnics, a personal pastime of Prince Philip. The ale is a traditional English bitter brewed using water from the Hampshire chalk hills. Full and clean tasting, initially malty then tangerine fruit and resinous hop build to a quenching bitter finish.
This centenary ale bottle features The Duke of Edinburgh's personal Cypher and Coronet, surrounded by springs of laurel and a ribbon commemorating his life between 1921 and 2021. The oak leaf border detail pays tribute to his service in the Royal Navy.
