The Royal Warrant Holder Centenary range is a collaboration between Royal Warrant Holders and Royal Collection Trust, a department of the Royal Household, in celebration of the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth.

Launer has reimagined the Traviata bag with a bespoke Old Stewart Tartan lining, crafted by fellow Royal Warrant holder Kinloch Anderson.

Few accessories are more closely associated with Queen Elizabeth II than her iconic Launer handbags, a relationship formally recognised with the granting of a Royal Warrant in 1968. Three handbags from Her Late Majesty’s own collection will be displayed in the exhibition, offering a rare insight into the pieces she carried throughout her reign.

The Launer Traviata Handbag is celebrated for its refined structure and impeccable craftsmanship. Introduced in 1989, it quickly became a symbol of royal elegance. Each bag is crafted from the finest calf and suede skins with Launer’s signature turned edge finish. A single expert craftsperson assembles each piece, completing the design with the brand’s gold‑plated twisted rope emblem lock and matching fittings.

Thoughtfully organised with a central division, two open pockets, an interior zip pocket with woven lining, an exterior rear pocket, and a gold foil embossed leather plaque. It also features four protective gold‑plated base studs, an attachable adjustable shoulder strap, and a leather covered cosmetic mirror.

The handbag is presented in a branded gift box with a protective dust bag to keep it in perfect condition.
