Featuring a design taken directly from one of a series of dessert plates made in 1787 at the Tournai factory in present-day Belgium. The service, acquired by George IV, is decorated with delicately painted birds and is beautifully gilded on a dark blue background, finished with 22 carat gold detail. It is usually reserved for the fruit course of a state banquet.
This wonderful plate is entirely made by hand following traditional methods that have been used for over 250 years. Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England, this piece is made from fine bone English china, which is widely known for its whiteness and its fineness.
Not suitable for use in a dishwasher or microwave.
