Teacups and Saucers
A limited edition of 250.
The design of this limited edition plate is based directly on a Coalport porcelain dessert plate, made for the Royal Table at the banquet given by the City of London at the Guildhall to celebrate the opening of the Great Exhibition in 1851. The dessert plate, with its lobed gilt rim formed of foliate scrolls and pink border, contains five reserves painted with St George, the Royal Arms, Prince of Wales badge, City of London arms and the Guildhall Arms all within gilt foliage and the Royal arms at the centre.
Made entirely by hand by our skilled artisans in Stoke-on-Trent using traditional methods unchanged for over 250 years, using English fine bone china, highly regarded around the world for its whiteness, fineness and delicacy. Finished with 22 carat gold.
