The collections draw inspiration from pieces Her late Majesty wore throughout her life, celebrating the makers whose work became interwoven with her enduring style.

Celebrating Craftsmanship: Royal Warrant Holders and Queen Elizabeth II
At the centre of these collaborations is the Old Stewart Tartan, a pattern long associated with the Royal Family and particularly with Queen Elizabeth II, who frequently wore it during informal moments at Balmoral Castle. For the centenary, this historic tartan provides a unifying thread across the range, reflecting both tradition and the personal touches that defined Her late Majesty’s approach to dress.
Royal Collection Trust x Kinloch Anderson
The Old Stewart Tartan, designed by tartan maker and kiltmaker Kinloch Anderson, was often worn by Queen Elizabeth II during her visits to the Scottish Highlands. One of 11 tartans created specifically for royal use, it has now been lent to a lambswool throw, silk square and tie. A tartan skirt worn by Her late Majesty will also appear in the exhibition, offering historic context to this enduring royal tradition.
Royal Collection Trust x Launer London
Few accessories are more closely associated with Queen Elizabeth II than the iconic Launer handbags, a relationship recognised with the granting of a Royal Warrant in 1968. For the centenary, two classic silhouettes, the black Traviata and the green Judi bag, have been reimagined with linings in the Old Stewart Tartan produced by Kinloch Anderson. Three Launer handbags from the Queen’s own collection will be displayed in the exhibition, offering a rare insight into the handbags she carried throughout her reign.
Royal Collection Trust x Dents
Gloves were an essential part of Queen Elizabeth II’s wardrobe, and she was rarely seen carrying out official engagements without them. Her Majesty personally selected her gloves to complement each outfit, particularly for formal occasions. For the centenary year, Dents has created two pairs of leather gloves in green and navy, presented in a gift box finished with the Old Stewart Tartan.
Royal Collection Trust x Floris
As the only perfumer granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Elizabeth II, Floris held a distinctive place in Her late Majesty’s personal style. In collaboration with Royal Collection Trust, the perfumer has created a centenary edition of Night‑Scented Jasmine Eau de Toilette, presented in bespoke packaging decorated with the Old Stewart Tartan.
Royal Collection Trust x Corgi
Family‑run for five generations in Carmarthenshire, Wales, Corgi continues to supply members of the Royal Family. Using traditional methods, their hand‑finished socks in the Old Stewart Tartan are designed for all occasions and reflect the company’s long heritage of Welsh craftsmanship.
Royal Collection Trust x Burberry
Known for its association with the outdoors, Burberry created a new interpretation of the Burberry House Check inspired by the Old Stewart Tartan. The palette runs throughout the collaboration, from refined outerwear crafted in Yorkshire to accessories shaped by the landscapes and traditions Her late Majesty cherished, reflecting the longstanding relationship that was recognised when she renewed Burberry’s Royal Warrant in 1955.
