As of 29th August 2025, all parcels sent to the United States are subject to local taxes and import duties upon arrival, regardless of the order value. These charges are set by U.S. customs and must be paid by the recipient before your order can be cleared and delivered. Unfortunately, we have no control over these fees and cannot advise on the exact amount.
To continue serving our U.S. customers, we now ship U.S. orders exclusively with DHL owing to their ability to collect any customs duties and taxes directly from you. Once your shipment enters the U.S., you will receive correspondence from DHL detailing the charges owed and the method of payment. These must be paid in full using a credit or debit card issued in the U.S. before DHL will deliver your parcel.
Customs and duties are calculated based on product type and country of origin of each product. To help you estimate these charges, country of origin information is provided at the bottom of each product description. Please note, all our chinaware is made in the U.K. If you are unsure of the charges or regulations that may apply to your order, please contact your local customs office for further guidance.
Please note, postage will not be refunded for any orders that are returned due to unpaid customs fees.
