This first issue Limited Edition Pillbox Clock was inspired by a dessert service presented by the people of Derby to the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George V and Queen Mary, to commemorate their marriage in 1893.

The elegant design faithfully reproduces details from the original service, featuring the intertwined initials of the Duke and Duchess of York beneath their coronet, framed by delicate floral swags and a graceful floral border.

This Pillbox Clock is made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent from English fine bone china using traditional methods unchanged for over 250 years, and finished by hand using 22 carat gold. English fine bone china is highly regarded around the world for its whiteness, fineness, delicacy and durability.

Presented in a luxury handmade Buckingham Palace Limited Edition gift box with its numbered certificate. Each piece is engraved with the prestigious Limited Edition Number 1. As these pieces are finished by hand, slight variations are a natural characteristic of the craft and contribute to the individual character of each piece.
