Inspired by the peacocks featured on the recently restored wallpaper of the Yellow Drawing Room in the East Wing of Buckingham Palace, this elegant and contemporary brooch reflects historic artistry with a modern finish. The original wallpaper, hand‑painted in the 18th century, is beautifully reinterpreted through the hand painted enamel peacock.
3.3 x 6.3 cm.
Materials:
• Peacock : Brass and enamel.
• Plating: 14K gold plated with an electro-coating to prevent tarnishing.
Care: To keep your gold plated jewellery in good condition, avoid exposing your jewellery to chemicals such as perfume, household chemicals and hairspray. Lightly polish with a soft cloth to gently remove dust and grime. When not being worn, keep your plated jewellery stored separately.
