Queen Victoria Tea Set

£180.00

This tea set is the perfect addition to an afternoon tea. Exclusive to the Royal Collection Trust, the design of this range is inspired by a service commissioned by Queen Victoria for the Great Exhibition in 1851.

Queen Victoria (1819-1901) succeeded to the throne aged 18 and reigned for 63 years over one of the most remarkable periods of growth, change and discovery, whilst the British Empire was at its peak. As queen, she was revered and when she died in 1901, the nation went into deep mourning at the loss of a much loved monarch. Her cipher forms the centerpiece of this service surrounded by decorative floral borders.

Made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent using traditional methods unchanged for over 250 years, and finished by hand using 22 carat gold. English fine bone china is highly regarded around the world for its whiteness, fineness, delicacy, and durability.

Teapot 18 x 14 x 22 cm from spout to handle and holds 790 ml.

Cream jug 11 x 6 x 11 cm including handle and holds 150 ml.
